Robert Charles Whipple Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Charles Whipple Jr., 62, of Dupo, Illinois, passed away on March 9th, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Robert grew up in Dupo, a town they loved and never left. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and wrestling, going to concerts, He enjoyed going fishing and playing poker with his brother-in-law, Steve and other friends and family. Robert will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Robert was preceded in death by is mother, Francis M. (Callis) Campbell, father, Robert C. Whipple Sr., and brothers; James Roy, David Roy, and Joseph Roy.
He is survived by his wife, Robin, three sons; Robert "Bobby" (Misty), Daniel "Danny", Adam (Chelsea) and four grandchildren; Connor, Cole, Natalie, and Dexter, brother, John Roy, sister, Dorothy "June" Beatte, along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 5th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Sportsman Club in Columbia, 202 2770 N, Columbia, IL 62236. They encourage all of his loved ones and friends to join in celebrating his beautiful life.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the ALS Association, 2258 Weldon Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63146.
