Mr. Robert E Tyler Jr's Obituary
Robert E. Tyler Jr., 68, of Millstadt, Ill, born June 9, 1948 in Murphysboro, IL, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Fenton, MO.
Mr. Tyler was a retired Locomotive Engineer for the railroad and was a member of the BLE Local 42. The joy of Robert’s life was living for his family.
Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Sr. and Helen, nee Rains, Tyler.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen, nee Levin, daughter, Angela (Randy) Tenholder, sons, Rob Tyler, Richard (Martha) Tyler, Ryan (Catherine) Tyler, sister, Carline (Jerry) Jung, grandchildren, Abigail Martens, Randy and Rodney Tenholder, Andrew, Benjamin, and Caleb Tyler, Joseph, Emma, and Louis Tyler. Robert is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent De Paul
Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., and on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, Ill., with Fr. Linus Umoren, officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
