Robert E. Pease's Obituary
Robert E. Pease, 91, of Otttawa, IL, formerly of Columbia, IL, passed away in the Illinois Veteran's Home, LaSalle, IL. He was born in Tolu, KY, the son of the late Charles and Ollie (Thurman) Pease. Robert served in the US Navy, and was a WWII Pearl Harbor survivor. He served as a Chief Boatswain's Mate on the USS Belle Grove LSD-2, and was a member of the USS Belle Grove LSD-2 Association. He was married to the late Dollie (Shackelford) Pease. She passed away July 25, 2006. They were married on February 19, 1966, in Dwight, IL.
