I am so sorry to hear of your loss. This morning I received an e-mail from Donna telling me that Uncle Bob had passed away on Sunday. I am sorry I could not be there to say “goodbye” but I had traveled to California on Saturday to visit with Scott & his family. Of my aunts & uncle, I believe your Mom & Dad were my favorites. I have many fond memories of both of them. It so hard to lose your parents !! I pray that his passing was quick & that he did not linger long before crossing over into paradise.
When my Dad & my Mom died I was so thankful that their suffering ended quickly … it is hard to lose them from this life but it would be so much harder if they suffer over an extended period of time knowing that there is little we can do to give them comfort. With Mom’s passing last year, I felt alone in a way I have never felt before. We have to take comfort knowing that they lived long lives, they now have “perfect bodies” & have found a place in paradise where we will all be reunited one day.

I was so shocked to see this. Bob was a really great guy. I work down at the drivers lisc. office in Waterloo and we would talk when he came in. I think I even took him on his driving test several times. I used to also live over on Young St and would see Bob walking through the neighborhood. He would always stop and talk.
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with the whole family.
