Robert M. "Bob" Long, 57 years of Saint Louis, MO, formerly of Dupo, IL, passed away on October 24, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, Saint Louis, MO. He was born November 21, 1967, in Centreville, IL.
Bob attended Greater True Vine Church in St. Louis. He was a lifetime Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals fan, he and Marie attended many games over the years. In his younger days he was a professional pool player, winning many trophies over the years. He loved to travel and he and Marie had hoped to go back to Cozumel where they spent their honeymoon. Most of all Bob was a loving, caring and protective family man that will be missed by all that knew him..
Surviving are his Wife, Marie Long, Son, Antoine Cannon, Daughter, Arrianna Cannon, Mother, Shirley Long , Sister, Rose Long, Nephews, Jim Long and Joe Long, Niece, Mia Long and Sister-In-Law, Magda Long, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, James A Long, Jr.; Two Brothers, James A. Long, III and Michael Long; his Grandparents, James A. and Margaret Long Sr. and James and Thelma Grider.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 30, 2025, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at Leesman Funeral Home Dupo, IL and from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 am Friday October 31. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday October 31, 2025, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.,with Bishop Irma Cannida, officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens Of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
