Robert J. LaMear's Obituary
Robert J. LaMear, 66, of East Carondelet, IL born October 7, 1948 in St. Louis, MO., passed away Saturday August 29, 2015 at Jefferson Barracks Hospital. His final days were spent surrounded by his family.
Robert was a tuck pointer for Western Waterproofing, a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Local 1 and Local 40.
He was preceded in death by his parents James John LaMear and Rose Bernice LaMear, nee Mesplay. Sister Jeanette Joan Johnson and Grandson Zackary David LaMear.
He is survived by his Wife of 30 years, Janie Marie LaMear, nee Cox. Sons David Beverly (Kayla) LaMear of Cahokia Il, Robert Joseph LaMear Jr. of Dupo Il, James John (Lynette) LaMear of Dupo Il. Stepdaughter Tammy Sue (Jason) Bartnick of Hillsboro Mo. Stepsons Brian Douglas (Amanda) Austin of Farmington Mo and Jason Micheal Cox of St. Louis Mo. Brothers James LaMear of St. Louis, Gerald (Marilyn) LaMear of Licking Mo and Thomas Edward (Shirley) LaMear of Dupo Il. Sister Mary Louise Knoll. Robert also has 17 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the family.
Visitation: The Visitation will take place Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral Service: The Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Terry Chandler Officiating.
Burial: Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Mehlville, Mo.
