Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Lucille, nee Mosley, Hudspeth and a brother John Hudspeth. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Jacqueline Hudspeth, nee Alves, his three daughters: Sharon (Peter) Hallihan of Jacksonville, FL., Susan Watts of Kansas City, MO., & Kelly (Jim) Gabbard of Mobile, AL., his eight grandchildren: Lindsay Scott & Nicholas Scott of Jacksonville, FL., Tiffany (Ozzie) Luna of Kansas City, MO., Nathan (Kayla) Watts of Tupelo, AR., Angela (Jason) LaBrash of Fenton, MO., Jeremy (Theresa) Beever of St. Mary's, GA., James Gabbard II of Mobile, AL., and Joshua Gabbard of St. Mary's, GA., he is also survived by six great grandchildren, other relatives & friends. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
