Robert Gamber's Obituary
Robert Gamber, 91 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, IL. He was born September 7, 1928, in St. Louis, MO.
Bob was a retired welder from Corion in St. Louis, MO., and he was a WW II United States Navy veteran.
Surviving are his son, Nick Gamber of Hohenwald, TN., his sisters, Jane Dee of Potosi, MO., Joan Gamber of Potosi, MO., and Wanda Schultz of St. Louis, MO., his dear friend, Michael Overbay, Sr. of Dupo, IL., along with numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Gamber, parents, David Elmo and Anna, nee DaGuardia, Gamber, his brothers, Nick and Elmo and his sisters, Patricia and Jean;
Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, private services will be held. Interment will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
