Robert F. Flemister, 82 Years, of Dupo, Ill, passed away on April 14, 2017 at his residence in , Dupo, Ill. He was born September 30, 1934, in North Little Rock, AR.
He and his wife owned and operated Bob and Joan's Tavern in Dupo, Ill., for 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Mabel, nee Lea, Flemister, and his father-in-law, Richard Haskenhoff.
Surviving are wife, Joan Flemister, nee Haskenhoff, his son, Wayne (JoAnn McCauley) Flemister, his daughter, Diane (Todd), his son, Marc (Charlotte) Flemister, his mother-in-law, Dorothy Haskenhoff, his grandchildren, Alena (Scott) Tudor, Shannon (Marquise) Epps, Robbie (Danielle) Smith, Christopher Elkins, and Chelsea Wyckoff, his great-grandchildren, McCalin Tudor, Derek Smith, Gabby Smith, Cyerra Elkins, Jordan Elkins Cydni Elkins and Chaz Khourey, his brother, Pat (Gwen) Flemister, his uncle, Wendell (Jeanette) Flemister, his nieces, nephews cousins. His wonderful friend, Bobby Dell. We don't know what we would have done these last 6 years. He was always there for him. No better friend could anyone have. His 2 cats that can't figure out where he is..
Bob has chosen to gift his remains to Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale, Ill. At his request no services will be held.
