Robert Kenneth Euge's Obituary
Robert Kenneth Euge, 75 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at his residence. He was born August 26, 1949, in East St. Louis, IL.
Kenny Bob was an accomplished artist and he was a retired switchman from the Terminal Railroad. In 2009 Kenny Bob was presented the Presidential Unit Citation to Alpha Troop, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Calvary Regiment by President Obama in the Rose Garden of the White House for his service in Vietnam.
Surviving are his children, Jason R. Euge, Shaina C. (Brandon Riley) Euge, and Dominic R. (Claire Di Lorenzo) Euge, his grandchildren, Oliver, Elliot, Harlan and Evelyn, his dear friend, Elizabeth, his two sisters, Sondra Skidmore and Jenette Vanover, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August C. and Helen N., nee Green, Euge and his two brothers, Garland Euge and Dennis Euge.
Private family burial with military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
