Robert L Brand's Obituary
Robert L. Brand, 64 of Red Bud, Ill., passed away at 8:01 p.m. on April 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born to the late Robert and Irma (Hamilton) Brand on October 9, 1950 in Fort Worth, TX.
He married Anita Gail Laramore on November 13, 1971 in Perryville, MO. and she survives in Red Bud.
Surviving besides his wife are three children, Patricia Santos of Red Bud, Ill., Sandra (Enrique) Martinez of Baldwin, Ill., Robert L. (Carey Schoenbeck) Brand Jr. of Red Bud, Ill., his six grandchildren, Destiny Brand, Selena Santos, Joshua Brand, Gabriela Martinez, Elena Marquez, and Anthony Martinez.
Three brothers, Ronald (Sharon) Brand of Waterloo, Ill., Roy (Maryann) Brand of Maeystown, Ill., and Raymond (Cheryl) Brand of Sullivan, MO., three sisters, Diana (David) Mohr of Branson, MO., Mary (Linden) Brand of Abilene, TX., and Dolores (Daryl) Biffar of Red Bud, Ill., and many nieces, nephews, and cousins to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marilyn Brand.
Robert retired 35 years as a Railroad clerk for Norfolk and Southern out Granite City, IL. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His enjoyment was traveling and his pastime was Bingo.
At the request of Robert there will be no funeral services. His last wish was to be cremated and any and all memorials be given to his wife, children, and grandchildren.
