OBITUARY
Richard Olin Rouggly
Richard Olin Rouggly, 83 years old of St. Louis, MO., passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Mercy South Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born September 3, 1935, in French Village, MO.
Richard was retired as a Zookeeper for the St. Louis Zoo. He was a United States Marine and Army Veteran. He loved his family very much. He was a loving father and a very proud grandpa.
Surviving are Wife of 62 years, Lillian Rouggly, nee Hendershott, Son, Brian (Dawn) Rouggly of Dupo, IL.; Granddaughter, Michaela Rouggly; Grandson, Brandon Rouggly; Brother, Daymond (Wilma) Rouggly; Three Sisters, Margie Hanon, Gerry Barkley & Mary (John) Carril, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by Son, Gary Rouggly; his Father, Roscoe R. Rouggly; his Mother, Myrtle E Knudsen; his Brother, Raymond Rouggly and Sister, Annebelle Brown.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Lucas Rouggly.
At Mr. Rouggly's request, he was cremated.
