He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Verna Snellenberger, his sister: Pauline, and his brothers: Bill, Charles, Ted, Jim, Max and Don. He is survived by his wife of 42 years: JoAnn Snellenberger, his children: Dennis Carlin Snellenberger of Cureo, TX., Vincent (Laurie) Gunter of Houston, IL., Cyndi (Don) Watts-Bertschi of Woodlawn, Il., and James (Lisa) Gunter of Belleville, IL., fourteen grandchildren: Anthony Rikenshrud, JoAnna Watts-Branner, Roxy Watts-Prentice, Jeff Watts, James Watts, Andrew Bailey, Alex Gunter, Allister Gunter, Addison Gunter, Dustin J. Gunter, John Logan Gunter, Lexi Gunter and Anna Gunter, three great grandchildren: Sylas D. Gunter, Alexzandria Prentice and Rece Prentice, his brother: John Snellenberger of Avon Park, FL., he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
