Richard Allan Bivins Sr.'s Obituary
Richard Allan Bivins Sr., 85 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 24, 1939, in East St. Louis, IL.
Richard was a retired mechanic from Bi-State and he was retired from the Prairie du Pont Fire Department.
Surviving are his children, Susan (Troy) Saatkamp, Rick Bivins Jr., and Sherrie South, his grandchildren, Stephen Saatkamp, Eric (Kailey) Saatkamp, Shawn (Kelsea) Bivins, Tyler (Chelsea) Bivins, Nathan (Brittany) Schmitt, Michael South, James South and Kevin South, his sister, Kathy (Scott) Raitt, along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter Rudolph and Elizabeth Alice, nee Mallett, Bivins, his brother, David R. Bivins and his sister, Barbara Ann Moore.
Memorial service will be Monday, August 12, 2024, 6:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church, Dupo, IL.
