Richard Charles Bayer Sr.'s Obituary
Richard Charles Bayer Sr., 66 of East Carondelet, Ill., born, June 30, 1949 in Kansas City, MO.., passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Mr. Bayer was a heavy equipment operator for Local 520. He was also a United States Army Veteran.
Mr. Bayer was preceded in death by his Parents, Richard Philip Bayer and Bonnie Jo Clupper, nee Downing.
He is survived by his wife, Gina Bayer, nee Weller, his children, Richard Bayer Jr., Jeremy Todd Bayer, Zachary Bayer and Bryce Bayer, his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bayer, Jeremy Todd Bayer II, Brooklyn Bayer, Elli Bayer, Kobe Bayer, Kroy Bayer, and Lucas Bayer, his sister, Vickie Fothen, his brother, Dino Capps, his sister, Christina Hopkins, his step-mother, Marlene Bayer, his step-father, Hosea Clupper, his sister, Martha Leedle, his sister, Barbara Walker, he is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
Visitation: Friends may call on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Life Community Church, 626 Bottom Ave., in Columbia, Ill.
Funeral: Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at noon at Life Community Church in Columbia, Ill., with Pastors, Larry Bjorklund, Bob Gay and Jeff Wilson, officiating.
Inurnment with military honors was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Mehlville, MO.
