Father Charlie welcomed me back to the Church after more than thirty years of being away. I mourn his death, and I will never forget him. I miss him at Our Lady of the Desert in Apple Valley.
His humor and joy are missed every day.
Fr. Charles was such a nice man! I will miss his warmth and cheeriness. I loved how he visited with anyone who would talk with him before Mass and how he always encouraged us to help the poor. His words and actions were powerful and he will be sorely missed. I am so very sorry for your loss. His death comes as a huge shock!
