Reno Joseph Gastaldi's Obituary
Mr. Reno J. Gastaldi, 89, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on July 24, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital, Chesterfield, MO. He was born on March 18, 1918, in Milan, Italy, the son of the late Siro and Mary (Vercesi) Gastaldi. Mr. Gastaldi came to the U.S. at the age of 3 and became a U.S. citizen, was a graduate of Yale University with a Fine Arts Degree, and he had been self-employed as a sculptor and operated Reno Studios - Sculptured Originals with his wife for over 30 years. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. . He was married to Ruth C. (Ferkel) Gastaldi on April 18, 1953, who survives him.
