Raymond P. Griesbach's Obituary
Raymond P. Griesbach, 83 yrs., of Columbia, IL, and formerly of St. Louis, MO. He was born in St. Louis, MO, the son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Brante) Griesbach. Ray was a member of Christ Community Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 581, had served Columbia on various boards and had been the City Clerk in the early 1980's, was an assistant director with the Monroe County Human Support Services, and had owned and operated Columbia Motors Ford Dealership in Columbia for many years. Mr. Griesbach had served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was married to Louise (Beckmann) Griesbach, who survives him. They were married on November 5, 1955, in St. Louis, MO.
