Ralph H. Spihlmann, 78 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010. He was born in Breese, IL, the son of the late William and Rose (Rielmann) Spihlmann. He had retired from Churchill Trucking, St. Louis, MO, and had been a member of the Men's Sodality at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, American Legion Post 581,Columbia, IL , Trenton V.F.W. Post 7983, Disabled American Veterans, and Retired Teamsters Local 50. He had served as a decorated U.S. Marines Veteran of the Korean War. He was married to the late Elizabeth (Kues) Spihlmann. They were married on October 19, 1954, at Trenton, IL. She had passed away November 17, 2009.
