Ralph Joseph Melliere Jr.'s Obituary
Ralph Joseph Melliere, 88 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on September 17, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL. He was born April 13, 1929 in St. Louis, MO.
Ralph was a Maintenance Technician for Red Bud Regional Hospital. He also spent time as a Red Bud Police Officer and many years as a Red Bud Volunteer Firefighter. He also worked for Dehne's Bus Service as a Mechanic and Bus Driver. He enjoyed camping and fishing, putting puzzles together and loved making wooden projects for his family and friends.
Surviving are his son, Keith Melliere, daughter, Linda (fiance, William Fries, Sr.) Wessel, Grandchildren, Brian Melliere, Jacinda Malliere, Chad (Fiance, Amanda Rivera) Melliere, Jason (Angela) Brown, Jayme (Tim) Warren, Jacob Brown, Corey Seiber, Jeremiah (Tracy) Seiber, and Shane Seiber, 11 Great-Grandchildren, Brothers, Donald Melliere, and Michael (Judy) Melliere, along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois (nee Huch) Melliere, his parents, Ralph and Pearl (nee Nevois) Melliere, Sr., daughter, Diane Brown, and sister-in-law, Lorraine Melliere.
Visitation will be Friiday, September 22, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL and Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 10:0 - 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL.
Services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Nebel officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery
