Kevin and Craig,
I am saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I was informed today by my aunt Pauline (Kaufmann- Weinhold) Roth, and she did not have details for funeral. I truly regret missing your mother's visitation, yesterday.
What I most remember of Phyllis Story.
When Kevin and I were at Rolla, my dad, Gene Kaufmann (Weinhold), drove over to Columbia to pick up Kevin and link us with our ride back to college. When, in your driveway, your mom came outside and greeted my dad and asked if he was Eugene Kaufmann, his mother being Ada Weinhold. My father had a startled look and then astonishment; he lived and kept bees in the Columbia bottoms for 20 yrs...so close to where is Weinhold cousin and family lived.
The rest of the story. Kevin and I always thought alike at school and now had proof to others, we actually were related!
