Phyllis Joy Skryd's Obituary
Phyllis Joy Skryd, 74 years, of Belleville, Illinois, passed away on January 19th, 2023 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born May 4th, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri to Conway and Ruby, nee Snarr, Briscoe.
Surviving is her husband, Bruce Skryd, daughter, Rachel (Kyle) Herrman, son, Nathan Hood, sister, Mary Ellen (Chuck) Bremer, and grandchildren; Wesley, Joel, Bryce, and Camille Herrman.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; Conway and Ruby Briscoe, and brother, Conway Briscoe II.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at 10:15am with a memorial mass to follow at 11:15am at the Chapel at Benedictine Living Community-At The Shrine, 726 Community Dr., Belleville, IL 62223.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, 718 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63103.
