Harold often spoke of Pearl in endearing terms; while we laughed at his humor, we knew his intentions were the best.While attending Murray Sate Teachers' College in Kentucky. the Luhr family placed me at the Boat Dock,just outside of Columbia as a welder apprentice and operator.The older employees accepted me completely.Harold acted like a 2nd. father and made sure everything worked, as it should.
I had the honor of working for Pearl at Weibacher's with my very FIRST job. She set me on my path in life ... to be the very best at whatever I ever did. I have her to thank for the many lessons learned while at Weibacher's.
I am happy to see that she married later in life ... and lived to fully enjoy life!
