Paul F. Schlemmer, 81, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at Columbia Convalescent Center, Columbia, IL. He was born in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Armin and Mildred (Kuni) Schlemmer. He retired from Boeing, Inc, St. Louis, MO, where he had worked as a flight line mechanic. Paul had been a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, and American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was married to Annette (Grasshaw) Schlemmer, who survives him. They were married on January 10, 1953, in Columbia, IL.
