Paul H. Brinkmann, Sr's Obituary
Mr. Brinkman was born in Waterloo, IL, son of the late John Brinkmann and the late Catherine (Korte) Brinkmann. He was retired from Ameren U.E., where he had worked as a Supervisor, was a member of Columbia Blue Lodge #474 A.F. & A.M., Columbia, IL, Mended Hearts - Chapter 120, Gasoline & Engines Club - MO & IL, Compasses Guild - Masons of Union Electric, St. Louis, MO, had worked for many years with the Cub Scouts in Dupo, and served as a Cub Master, was a Past Watchman of Shepards of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem - Mission Shrine #102, and had served in the U.S. Army following the Korean Conflict. He was the husband of LaVerne (Bordewisch) Brinkmann, who survives him. They were married in Dupo, IL on October 29, 1955. Paul truly enjoyed his family, especially those granddaughters, antique tractors, and woodworking. He loved making furniture for the family. If anyone needed a helping hand in the family, at church, or a friend in need, he was always there to help.Masonic Services: Sunday evening at 7 PM at the funeral home.
