Mr. Becker was born in Smithton, IL, son of the late William and Rose (Helfrich) Becker. He had received a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Notre Dame University. He was retired from White - Rogers Division of Emerson Electrice Co., where he had worked as a Patent Agent. He attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL.. He had served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves as a Captain.He is preceded in death by his late wife, Joan D. (Schaffer) Becker, whom he married June 25, 1960, in Columbia, IL.
