Patricia L. Freeland, 64 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on June 30, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur, MO. She was born December 28, 1958, in East St. Louis, IL.
Patti graduated from Columbia High School in 1976, and had a lengthy career with AT&T. Patti loved country music, line dancing, and watching the Cardinals play. She had a fiery spirit that lit up the room. She had a quick wit, a beautiful smile, and a contagious laugh. Above all she was a loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend.
Surviving are her Mother, Marcy Altschuh of Waterloo, IL, Sister, Conni Mether of Columbia, IL, Son, Kyle (Anna) Freeland of Colorado Springs, CO, Son, Neil Freeland of Columbia, IL, Daughter, Ashley Bradley (Dirk) of St. Louis, MO, Grandchildren, Bryce, Jessica, Jordyn, Wyatt, Colby, and Darryll, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Edward A. Pitts, Father, Grant Karn, and her Grandparents.
Private services will be held.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Gateway Chapter, 1867 Lackland Hill Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63146.
