Patricia K. Day's Obituary
Patricia K. Day, 79 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away on December 30, 2011. She was born February 8, 1932, in Chicago, IL. She had been a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, Friendship Force, Scott Air Force Base Officers' Wives, and she had served for many years as the Tour Coordinator for the Monroe County Association for Home and Community Education. Patricia was a homemaker for 55 years, and had worked at Kresge's, Cargill, and AT & T. She had traveled the world over and never met a stranger as she was a friend to all. Photography was her passion, and she had received numerous awards over the years. She was married to Russell Day, who survives her. They were married on July 18, 1950, in St. Louis, MO.
