Orval was preceded in death by his wife: Jeanenne Hood, nee Rehmer, his parents: Arlee & Edna, nee Mattingly, Hood, his daughter: Linda Hood, his brother: Cecil Hood and his sister: Fern Thompson. He is survived by his son: Michael (Kim) Hood, his daughter: Laurie (Mark) Bradley, his son: Bryan Hood, his son: Shannon (Tish) Hood, his grandchildren: Michael Hood, Kevin Bradley, Angela Hood, & Jennifer Hood, his great grandchildren: Heavenly Hood & Hannah Hood, he is also survived by other relatives & friends. He was a United States Army Veteran. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
