Bud was preceded in death by his parents: James Henry & Gertie, nee Farthling, Carter, his son: Robert Dean Carter, his brothers: Richard Carter & Clarence Carter, and his sister: Ruby Loucks. Bud is survived by his wife: Elizabeth "Betty" Carter, nee Stanhouse, his daughter: Paula Barber of Jacksonville, FL., his son: Jamie (Donna) Carter of Dupo, IL., his grandchildren: Kelly Carter, Bobby Barber, Ali Carter, & Derek Carter, his sisters: Ollie Wafford of Matoon, IL. & Helen Morris of Tamora, IL., special family friend of 50 years: Georgia Palmer, he is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives & friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
