Ophia Mills' Obituary
Ophia Mills, 81 years, of Dupo, IL, passed away on July 21, 2021 at de Greeff Hospice House, Concord, MO. She was born March 4, 1940, in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of the late Robert, and Myrtle, nee Taylor, Mills.
She was employed at Allied Letter Service. Her house was always open for visitors. Ophia had many fun times playing games and cards with all of her family. What she had was yours if your needed it. She will be truly missed by all.
Surviving are eleven nieces, Lynn Frey of Columbia, IL, Cindy Morales of Hazelwood, MO, Angie Hester, Susan (Joey) Campanello of Eikhart, IN, Tami (Gordie) Sherven of Elkhart, IN, Penny (Chuck) Warfel of Grand Rapids, MI, Sherri Gulley of Dupo, IL, Nancy (Brian) Pogue of Dupo, IL, Lisa (Vinnie) Ngotsouvanh of Dupo, IL, Marybeth (Julie) Mills of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joyce (Mike) Kimsey of SC; seven nephews, Don (Stacey) King of Dupo, IL, Ron (Lynda) Cooper of Chicago, IL, Don (Mary) Cooper of St. Charles, MO, Buddy Mills of GA, Jeff Mills of Chatfield, TX, Mike (June) Mills of Warner Robbins, GA, Steven (Curtis) Mills of Hobe Sound, FL; brother-in-law, Kenneth Cooper of Elkhart, IN; sister-in-law, Shirley Mills of Port St. Lucie, FL; five cousins, Gloria Mills of St. Louis, MO, Charles Mills of St. Louis, MO, Opal Werder of Highland, IL, Loretta (Tony) Carmi of Belleville, IL, Norma (Charlie) Tieman of Swansea, IL; and many other great, and great-great nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley King, Geroline Cooper; two brothers, Jerry Mills, Billy Mills; brother-in-law, Donald King; Nephew, Randy Cooper; and niece, Judith Cooper.
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Thursday, July 29 at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
