Ollie V. Welmon's Obituary
Ollie V. Welmon, nee Bergadine, 97 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Bria of Columbia in Columbia, IL. She was born February 22, 1925, in Tilden, IL.
She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship in Millstadt, IL. She retired from Wagner Electric as an assembler and she also took care of the book shop at the church.
Surviving are her daughters, Phylis Schuchman & Betty Jo (Art) Dalavaris, her son, Bryan (Anita) Welmon, her grandchildren, Renee Gray, Jeniffer Martin & Paul Joseph Dalavaris, her great-grandchildren, Juliana, Daemien, Emily, Matthew, Alex, Elizabeth & Joey, 7 great great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her perents, Albert & Celena, nee Laurent, Bergadine, her husband, William Virgil Welmon and her siblings, Pearl Wilson, Bessie Mahne, Joe Bergadine, Tiny Bergadine & Bill Bergadine.
At Mrs. Welmon's request, cremation was held.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to New Covenant Fellowship in Millstadt, IL. Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home.
