Oliver J. Hoock, 87 yrs., of Millstadt, IL, passed away at Oak Hill Care Center, Waterloo, IL. He was born in Millstadt, IL, the son of the late Bernard and Louise (Metzger) Hoock. Ollie was the owner and operator of Ollie's Tavern, Columbia, IL. He was a member of American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL, and the Monroe County Liquor Association. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII.
