Norman Joseph Stoll's Obituary
Norman Joseph Stoll, 86 years old, of Millstadt, Illinois., passed away on April 16, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. He was born on April 19, 1931, in Columbia, Illinois.
Norman was a retired plasterer with the Union Local 90 for more than 60 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 7980 in Millstadt, Illinois, a member of the American Legion Post 502, in Millstadt, Illinois. He was a Krazy Clown with the Shriners, playing the role of Raggedy Andy, a member of Columbia Masonic Lodge 474 A.F. & A.M. in Columbia, Illinois. Norman was a Korean war veteran, serving in the United States Navy.
Surviving are his son, Bradley (Jean) Stoll; his daughter, Leslie (Gary) Bauer, his grandchildren, Derek Stoll, Ashley Stoll (Dean Wilson) & Erik Stoll, his great-grandchildren, Jaiden & Parker Stoll, and Alexis Wilson, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton H. "Tony" & Aurelia, nee Ebersohl, Stoll, his wife Helen, nee Bechtold, Stoll, and his daughter-in-law Gloria Stoll.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home, in Millstadt, Illinois
At Norman's request, he will be cremated following the visitation.
Interment will be held at a later date in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO., with full military honors.
