Norman Merl Plaisted's Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur ôWebbö and Geneva, nee Burton, Plaisted, his foster parents, Harold and Nina Weston and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bo and Eva Ivy. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Plaisted, nee Ivy, his son, TJ (Jennifer) Plaisted of Swansea, Ill., his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ashley and Tristan Plaisted, his twin sister, Norma Brown of Locust Grove, OK., brother, Ronnie (Barbara) Plaisted of CA., sister, Shirley (Tom) Davis of RI., brother, Larry Larkin Plaisted of RI., sister, Veda Nicholson of Des Moines, IA., brother, Keith ôButchö Plaisted of CA., brother, Donnie (Parounay) Plaisted of CA., brother, Bruce Plaisted of SD., brother, Terry Plaisted of MO., sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rita (Steve) Cindrell and Tina (Scrap) Jenkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his family by heart Monica Barry-Wilson and her sons Michael and Alex Hunsaker. Norman was a retired postal letter carrier having worked in OÆFallon, Ill., He later drove a school bus for the Dupo and New Athens school districts. He was a 100 percent disabled Air Force Veteran, he was a member of the VFW and American Legion posts and the National Association of Letter Carriers, Brand 155. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Association.
