Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents: Louis & Lillian, nee Reinhardt, Harris and his brother: Ora Harris. Mr. Harris is survived by his wife of 59 years: Dorothy Harris, nee Bradley, his daughter: Cheryl (Greg) Horn of East Carondelet, IL., his son: Brent (Amelia)Harris of East Carondelet, IL., his grandchildren: Lauren Horn, Logan Harris & Gwendylyn Harris, he is also survived by other relatives and friends. Mr. Harris worked for Illinois Electric and then retired from United Electric. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dupo, IL., Columbia Blue Lodge #474 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies 32nd degree, Ainad Shriners, Legion of Honor with Shrine, High Twelve Club #35 and a member of the Norm Club. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and was passionate about his yard work. He was a United States Army Veteran. Memorials may be to the building fund at First Baptist Church in Dupo, IL. or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
