Norine was born in St. Louis, MO, daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Schmidt, nee Myers. She was retired as an Accounts Manager at Monroe National Bank, Columbia, IL, with some 30 yrs. of service. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, where she had been active with the choir, as she loved music and singing.She was married to the late Eugene 'Gene' Pomeroy on September 14, 1940, in Columbia, IL. He had passed away on January 3, 1987.
