Noreen V. Smith's Obituary
Noreen V. Smith, nee Winkler, 77 years of Columbia, IL, formerly of Dupo, IL passed away on April 16, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O'Fallon, IL. She was born October 9, 1943, in Belleville, IL Noreen worked for 25 years at Kmart in South County before her retirement. She was also an avid bingo player.
Noreen is survived by her two daughters, Holly (Keith) Howard of Millstadt, IL and Penny Biffar of Columbia, IL; one son, Schayne G. Smith of Mississippi; four grandchildren, Keith (Victory) Howard III of Waterloo, IL, Taressa (Michael) Helton of Broken Arrow, OK, Alex (Sarah) Biffar of Columbia, Adam Biffar of Colorado, and six great grandchildren. She was a dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Luella (Huekin) Winkler; a brother, Leonard Winkler, Jr. and a sister, Betty L. Shoemaker, significant other Sylvan A. Brewer.
A private cremation and burial will be held at a later date in Ellis Grove, IL.
