Nina Mae Guebert's Obituary
Nina Mae Guebert, nee Hanebutt, 92 years old of Red Bud, Ill., born February 19, 1926, in Rising City, NE., passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Care Center in Red Bud, Ill.
Nina worked at Snyder General for 20 years, teachers aide at St. John's Lutheran School & nurses aide at Red Bud Regional Hospital. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL., Evening Guild at St. John's Lutheran Church & Monroe County Home Extension for 50 plus years. Later in life she was recognized as a master gardener.
Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Guebert, her parents, Harry & Lottie, nee Stellhorn, Hanebutt; her son, Daniel Guebert, her brothers, Donald Hanebutt & Rev. Robert Hanebutt, her sister and brother-in-law, Twila (Richard Sr.) Guebert, her brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Wilmer & Learose Jacobs, her brother in infancy, Gordon Hanebutt and her two grandchildren, Kim Guebert and Beth Guebert.
Surviving are her children Barbara (John) Foster of Fairfield Bay, AR., Robert Guebert of Villa Ridge, MO., William (Linda) Guebert of Red Bud, Ill., Mark (Sharon) Guebert of Red Bud, Ill. and Mary Hamilton of Red Bud, Ill., her sister-in-law, Eileen Hanebutt of Cameron Park, CA., her sister-in-law, Karen Hanebutt of New Athens, Ill., her grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill. and on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Ill., with Rev. Mark Nebel and Rev. Russell Koen officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, Ill.
