Nelson Allen Ferry's Obituary
Nelson Allen Ferry, 86, of East Carondelet, Ill., born, November 13, 1928 in North Dupo, Ill., passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Ferry graduated from Dupo High School in 1948. He was a barber for 60 years. He was a United States Army Veteran. He is a member of the American Legion Post 485 in Dupo, Ill., and the Oddfellows.
Mr. Ferry was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ferry, nee Broyhill, his parents, Leo & Mathilda, nee Schmidt, Ferry, his sisters, Cleo & Melva and his brothers, Olizene, Harlan, Vernon & Donald.
He is survived by his son, Vernon Ferry, his daughter, Deborah (James) Zahn, his grandson, Michael (Kathy) Schrader, his brothers, Floyd (Rosemary) Ferry & Al (Adeline) Ferry, he is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the family.
