Nadine Catherine Mahathey's Obituary
Nadine Catherine Mahathey, nee Kempfer, 73 years of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died peacefully from this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Tony C. Mahathey, 2 children, 2 step-children, 8 grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born on August 21, 1944 in Sparta, IL. to the late Lacie and Odelia (Wunderlich) Kempfer, Wunderlich and attended grade school and high school in Dupo, Illinois and college at the Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
Services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Roger Reid, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ellis Grove Cemetery in Ellis Grove, IL.
