Myrtle Miller's Obituary
Myrtle Miller, 83 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on December 13, 2025 at her residence. She was born October 17, 1942 in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Myrtle was a member of First Baptist Church in Dupo, IL and devoted over 40 years to teaching Sunday school classes. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6368 and American Legion Post 485. In her younger years, Myrtle loved to bowl and play bingo. She enjoyed doing word searches and playing games on her tablet.
Surviving are daughters, Stacy (Fiancé Joe Maddaleno) Baker & Michelle Anderson; her grandchildren, Breanna (Adam) Colstock, Caleb Baker, Caitlyn (Dakota) Grayling, Andrew Bivins, Cody Bivins & Logan Hirning; great-grandchildren, Montgomery, Levi, Charleigh, Oliver, Collins, Theodore, and Baby Grayling on the way; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Leona (nee Dell) Armstrong; first husband, Charles Bumgarner; second husband, Orville Miller; brother-in-law, Michael Davis; son-in-law, David Anderson and granddaughter-in-law, Erica Baker
Memorial visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2025, 10:00am - 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Dupo. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00am with Pastor Roger Reid officiating.
Inurnment will take place at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL, following the service.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the First Baptist Church, Dupo, IL.
