Myrtle L. Bartholomew's Obituary
Myrtle Lorain Bartholomew, 97, of Dupo, Illinois passed away June 23rd, 2022 in Columbia, Illinois. She was born to Ernest and Della (Criss) Berndt on November 26th, 1924 in Fountain Bluff Township, IL.
She enjoyed crafting, quilting, macramé, flowers, and cooking. She grew fantastic tomatoes and loved her greenhouse.
Surviving is her son, Robert Collins, daughter, Virginia O'Malley, and sister, Margie Hogan, along with several grandkids, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Della Berndt, husband, Roger Bartholomew, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29th from 4PM - 6PM at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. Services will be held Thursday, June 30th at 1PM at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. Internment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, IL.
