Morris Mo Morrow's Obituary
Morris 'Mo' Morrow, 55, of Avon Lake, OH, and formerly of Columbia, IL, was born in East St. Louis, IL. He was a 1969 graduate of Columbia High School and had began working for the railroad at the age of seventeen. For the past thirteen years he had worked as Director of Communications for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (B.L.E.T.).Memberships included the Sons of the American Legion Post #581, Columbia Blue Lodge #474 A.F. & A.M., and the Dupo Quarterback Club. Mo was the youngest member ever elected to the Dupo, IL School Board and had served Dupo as a Police Commissioner. He had been active with the Illinois and Ohio Democratic Party. He also enjoyed wood-working, fishing, gardening, the outdoors, and barbequing.
