Mora Lee Alice Beger's Obituary
Dupo- Mora Lee Alice Beger, 97, of Dupo, passed away at 10:36 AM, Friday, July 30, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Dupo.
Mora Lee was born on December 2, 1923, in Dupo to David E. and Pauline (Trost) Warbritton. She married Edwin Glenn Beger, Jr., the love of her life on April 30, 1948, in Dupo at the Evangelical Church. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2009.
She began her career as a secretary at the Bank of America and then stayed home for many years to care for her daughter. Later she began work as a receptionist at a veterinarian office but her skill and love of animals was so great that she soon became a veterinary surgical assistant.
She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in East Carondelet and a lifetime member of the Hilltoppers Swim Club. She was a great listener and enjoyed helping the kids around the swim club. She loved her summers at Hilltoppers and everyone who knew her there was a friend. She was a natural caregiver who looked after her Mother when her Dad was killed at a young age, her husband, daughter, grandkids and great grandson. She was loved by many and everyone who knew her were touched by her love, compassion, humor and kindness. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter- Paulette L. Kremmel and husband Larry of Dupo, grandchildren- Brian and Jennifer Kremmel and their son Great Grandson, Oliver, Kyle Kremmel and Nathan and Chelci Kremmel and Great Grandson Greyson all of Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eddie, Almeda “Meezie” Vance and her father and mother-in-law- Edwin and Rose Beger, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo. Pastor Ralph Laufer will officiate. Burial will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be from 11:00 Am until time of service, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo.
