Mildred A. (Schroeder) Smith, 82 yrs., of Valmeyer, IL, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012. She was born in Port Hudson, MO, the daughter of the late Henry and Amanda (Ahlemeier) Schroeder. Mildred had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Columbia, IL, and a past member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Cahokia, IL. She was married to the late James H. Smith. They were married on April 23, 1950, in St. Louis, MO. He had passed away May 6, 2004.
