Sorry I just heard the news, and I am still shocked. Maybe it is better this way, so I have no bad memories to share at all. I am sorry I and my sympathy goes out to the family. May she rest in peace and she now is pain free.

My soul has been aching at the loss of such a sweet young lady, and I'm sorry that I didn't know her as well as an adult as I knew her as a child.Janette and the family probably grew weary of my constant presence at their home, as Bobby and I complimented each others'ability to get into some sort of trouble! As I close my eyes and remember those days that seem so long past, I'll always remember that beautiful little blonde haired girl that was so sweet and innocent...and i"ll always cherish the thoughts of loving on her like she was my lil' sister I never had. All of us loved her so. I also miss her brothers' very much.
"Johnson Family"- if I've never told you all before, I want to take this opportunity to say "I Love You All" and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family as we grew up together. To all Shelly's family I pray that Almighty GOD will comfort you in this great loss, and that you will seek Jesus Christ as your source of salvation, strength and peace.May GOD Richly Bless Each And Every One Of You...In Christ, "Joey Sharp"
Our sympathies go out to Shelly Decker and her family, especially to our friends Roger and Cathie Massie.
May the Lord Jesus Bless You!

I had the honor of being Shelley's husband from 1999 to 2004, and her friend since 1997. She has been my closest friend, and was the most beautiful soul I have ever known in this world. She will be missed, and fondly remembered forever in my heart.
Rest in peace, Belle. Your Bear will always love you.
I am writing to extend my deepest sympathies to Shelley’s family and friends. I was deeply saddened when I learned of her passing. I am a graduate student in the Department of Chemistry at SLU; however, I first met Shelley during my junior year of undergrad, so I have been blessed to know her for about seven years. I still remember our first meeting because of Shelley’s warm, contagious smile and her sweet spirit. She made it a personal goal to quickly learn everyone’s name and she did. Shelley made us all feel so special! In fact, I always called her the “mom” of the department and she will be missed by all of us! Her strength and spirit is found in all who knew her. Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathies for your loss...my thoughts and prayers are with Shelley’s family and friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with Shelley's family and friends. I am glad to have worked with her and been able known her. She is a loving and kind lady.
To family:
So sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers are with you.

I don't have the right words to say. You were always my favorite Aunt. I took my first steps to you. You played a huge role in helping me keep my Father (your Brother's) spirit alive in me. You told me things about him that I may not have ever known. The good things...the many many good things there were to tell. ... I have letters and poems written by you and pictures from when we were the closest that I will treasure for my entire lifetime. Time and distance certainly has a way of getting the best of us and I regret that we didn't have a lot of time in my adult life. You are in a better place...that I am sure of...you get to be with Grandma...you get to be with Dad, Bobby and Mark. I love you.
My heart is breaking at the news of Shelly's passing. She was loved by all who she touched and will be thought of and remembered forever by those who love her.
Shelley was a very good friend of mine from my younger years. We met in fourth grade at East Carondelet Elementary. We become close through our high school years together. She was so mature and smart and had a great sense of humor! We would talk on the phone and laugh for hours! I remember many conversations with her during those days that impacted my life even to today. She was a phenomenal person. She had a special way about her. We recently just got reacquainted through Facebook. I think there was a reason for that—thank you Shells for reaching out to me!
The world is less without her. I am very sorry for her family, she loved them very much! They were always in her conversations with me. Please know how much she loved you! I will cherish her memory and will never, never forget her! My sympathies.
