OBITUARY
George Conrad Michael Westhoff
George Conrad Michael Westhoff, 65 years old of Saint Louis, MO, formerly of Millstadt, IL., passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born November 15, 1953, in Belleville, IL.
Mike had owned and operated Metro Towing in Millstadt, IL and he also had worked for the State of Illinois. Mike had been a past member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4741, former member of the Millstadt Union Fire Department , a former EMT and a former Constable in Millstadt.
Surviving are his sister, Rosalia "Sally" (Jerome) Mueller, his brothers, Brendan (Marilyn) Westhoff, Mark (Nancy) Westhoff and Terrence (Patti) Westhoff., his daughter, Michelle (Michael) Kunzelman, his grandchildren, Caitlin and Colin. Mike is also survived by many nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Louise, nee Whelan, Westhoff and his sister, Gwendolyn Westhoff.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL., with Monsignor Marvin Volk, and Gary Mueller CM, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to his grandchildren or to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
