Michael E. Terry's Obituary
Michael E. Terry, 69 years, of Dupo, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence in Dupo, IL. He was born March 2, 1951, in St. Louis, MO.
Michael was the current Sugarloaf Township Supervisor. He was a member of the Dupo/East Carondelet Lions Club, past officer, Columbia Blue Lodge #474 A.F. & A.M. in Columbia, IL., Mississippi Valley Lodge # 1009 Independent Order of Odd Fellows, former board member of VFW post 6368 in Dupo, IL. He was an Army Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Surviving are his children, Justin (Erin) Terry of St. Louis, MO, Rebecca Terry of St. Louis, MO., and Leann (Brett) Reed of Dupo, IL, his two Grandchildren, Elias Terry and Audrey Reed, his loving partner, Betty Kirk of Dupo, IL., his two Sisters, Sharon Terry of DuQuoin, IL., and Charlotte Terry of Dupo, IL., his brother, Wayne (Donna) Terry of Tumas, MO., he is also survived by nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank E. and Genevieve, nee White, Terry, and his two Brothers, David Terry and Bruce Terry.
Due to the current Covid restrictions, no services will be held at this time. Services will be announced at a later date and Interment will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
