Michael Charles Presley's Obituary
Michael Charles Presley, 67 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on May 3, 2025 at his residence in Dupo, IL. He was born January 26, 1958, in St. Louis, MO to Wayne and Virginia (nee Koester) Presley.
Mike worked as a route driver for AmeriGas. He loved to go fishing, especially for catfish. In recent years, Mike enjoyed taking trips to Bennett Springs State Park in Missouri to go fly fishing with his brother. A big sports fan, Mike enjoyed watching the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. He also enjoyed bowling, grilling, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his Wife, Sarah Presley; his Children, Heather (Neal Smith) Presley, Christopher (Christine) Presley, Michael Presley; Step-Children, Jeremey (Leslie) Weiss, Megan Weiss, James Price; Mother, Virginia Presley; Brother, Ron (Kimberly) Presley; Sister, Sharon (Eric) Lagasse; several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews; along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Wayne C. Presley and Brother, Wayne J. Presley.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, IL. A memorial service will follow visitation at 7pm.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Southern Illinois, 305 South Illinois Street, Belleville, IL 62220 or the ALS Association - St. Louis Regional Chapter, 2258 Weldon Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63146.
